Privacy policy
This policy explains how IPTV OLD SMART handles data related to use of the application and website.
1. Controller and contact

2. Data that may be processed
Account data; technical and device data; functional data such as configured playlists, favorites, history, playback progress, last channel, preferences and linked devices where enabled; purchase or subscription data; and communications sent to contact, support or privacy. We do not store full payment-card details.
3. Purposes
Create and manage accounts; provide app functions and synchronize data between devices; manage trials, Premium features and subscriptions; prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access; answer requests; improve stability and performance; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
Processing may rely on performance of the requested service, consent where required, legitimate interests in security and service improvement, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Providers
We may use technology providers such as Firebase/Google for authentication, databases, notifications, technical analytics or infrastructure. These providers process data under their own terms and applicable agreements.
6. IPTV playlists and credentials
The app does not provide content. Playlists and credentials added by users are used to connect to the provider they choose. We recommend not reusing passwords and using legitimate providers only. Where cloud synchronization is enabled, technical safeguards will be applied.
7. Retention
Data is retained while the account is active or as needed to provide the service. It may then be kept for periods required by law, fraud prevention or claims. Backups may take additional time to be deleted.
8. Rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent by writing to privacidad@iptvoldsmart.com. We may request information to verify identity.

14. Prevention of free-trial abuse
IPTV OLD SMART offers a limited free trial. To prevent account deletion and recreation from generating repeated free trials, we may retain a minimized technical identifier used exclusively to determine whether the trial has already been used.
This anti-fraud record is retained for a maximum of 12 months. It does not contain the email address in plain text, cannot be used to restore a deleted account, and is not used for advertising or commercial profiling. After the retention period it will be deleted or irreversibly anonymized, unless an applicable legal obligation requires otherwise.
10. Minors
The service is not intended for minors who lack legal capacity to accept these terms. If we detect data from a minor without valid authorization, we will take steps to delete it.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, although no system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect credentials and keep devices updated.
12. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect technical, legal or functional changes. The update date will be shown at the beginning.
